Next year in senior high school, I'm taking Robotics. Is Robotics all about programming the robot, and the robot will understand the input of the programming codes? And, how does the intelligence in robots work? Is it similar to CPU in a computer?

A robot is generally controlled by its own CPU, yes. (Sometimes it's controlled by a remote CPU instead.) Like with any other programming, you need to tell it everything.

I've done some basic robotics work before, and it basically comes down to two things: Inputs and outputs. You have various sensors that feed information to your CPU, and then based on those inputs, you come up with signals to send to the outputs, which are usually things like motors, etc.
